Father's Day Beer Tasting Printables

Happy Father’s Day! It’s time to show the dad around here a little extra lovin’. Did you know that a man who feels the love from his pack is much more liable to turn down the caveman and turn up the teddybear?! (He may even turn a blind eye to that Homesense bag you sneak in! wink wink!)

If you have an awesome guy in your life like we do at the Getty household, it can be a lot of fun to appeal to his love language… like beer!

Read on for printable bottle labels & beer tasting flight mats for Father’s Day fun.

On a side note, if you’ve been watching along on my stories @kylagettyliving – you may have seen that I’ve been contemplating ‘my why’ for creating lately. I was recently asked the quesion by a friend and I’ve been having fun digging deep into my own psyche! lol

There are so many reasons why I love to create – but a major one comes from the simple notion that when you create, you can enjoy the riches of abundance from very little.

I think that this Father’s Day printable project is a prime example of this. Very few supplies and a few beers can come together to create a father’s day gift that’s special, customized, and fun. These aren’t things you’ll find at the store… and the love you put into assembling them is a gift in and of itself!

Printable Beer Bottle Labels

These beer bottle labels worked great and looked cute on Corona bottles but you can scale up or down as needed to work on Dad’s fave bottle of brew!

Assembly is fairly self explanatory, but I will note that I loved working with this roll-out adhesive from Michaels. I also joined the label seem together with the Corona label at the back to avoid anything from showing through.

Beer Flight Tasting Mat

Kyle and I have had a couple of fun dates (and double dates) to breweries where you can order a ‘flight’ of beer. A flight allows you to sample 4 smaller (5 oz) portions of beer so that you can try a variety! And you know that I love options!

Enjoying an afternoon or evening of beer tasting at home allows you to drink responsibly… I suggest pulling out some fun games to play, delicious snacks, and making a fun occasion of it!

The flight mat is designed to feature 4 beers at a time. You’ll be able to split one can between 2-3 people. One mat will be the rough equivalent of drinking 2 regular sized beer pints. Feel free to print out as many mats as you like and take advantage of the space to label and take notes of your thoughts on the beer. I thought it would be fun to rate them each out of 10.
